Brief Overview

We arrieved in Valencia on September 7, 2012 in order to serve the Diocesan Seminary, called to this mission by the former archbishop of the Diocese, His Eminance Cardenal Carlos Osoro Sierra, who on being named Archbishop of Madrid, was substituted the following year by Cardenal Antonio Cañizares. As daughters of the Church, we take joy in receiving visits from our Cardenal and we feel well cared for by his Pastoral Ministry.

• Number of Sisters

Currently the Community is made up of 5 Daughter of Holy Mary of the Heart of Jesus Sisters from different countries. The intense community life allows us to remain united in living out our Charism and to be efficient in the apostolic work we carry out with a sense of deep joy, as we serve the priests and the future presbyterates who represent for us Christ in the Church.

• OUR APOSTOLATE

Our Apostolate primarily consists of contributing to the formation of the seminarians with our prayer and the testimony of our consecrated life.
*We are at the service of the Church with out work and service in the mission entrusted to us.
* We attend to the care of the liturgical Ornaments and the cleaning of the Chapels.
*We place ourselves at the service of the cafeterias and other jobs.
On special occasions such as: admissions to the minor Rites, the Ordinations to the Deaconate, and the Ordinations to the Presbyterate, we unite ourselves through the vigilance of prayer and we attend the ceremonies. We also accompany them for the celebration of their first Mass.
